For preventive and regenerative purposes, it is worth using a supplement Biofiton Healthy Vessels Phytotablets include medicinal plants, the effect of which is aimed at:

  1. NORMAL PRESSURE. Biologically active substances of Hawthorn Flowers, Birch Leaves and Horsetail Aerial Parts improve heart work and regulate blood pressure.
  2. NORMAL BLOOD FLOW. Hawthorn Flowers, Melilot Aerial Parts, Horse Chestnut Seeds, Horsetail Aerial Parts and Buckwheat Flowers have mild action and favorable effect on blood circulation.
  3. NORMAL CHOLESTEROL LEVEL. Active substances of Alder Buckthorn Bark and Peppermint Leaves prevent fatty deposits on vascular walls and maintain normal blood cholesterol level.
  4. STRENGTHENING AND CLEARANCE. Common Periwinkle and Melilot Aerial Parts, Dog Rose Fruits and Cowberry Leaves clean vessels from various deposits, normalizing their elasticity and flexibility.
  5. NORMAL METABOLISM. Hawthorn Flowers, Horse Chestnut Seeds, Dog Rose Fruits and Buckwheat Flowers activate metabolic processes, providing delivery of nutrients to all body cells, thus normalizing the blood flow.

Heart failure (Latin insufficiaentia cordis) – a condition in which the abnormal structure or functioning of the heart impairs your ability to ensure sufficient blood flow in line with your body’s needs. Do not confuse heart failure with circulatory failure. Common causes of heart failure include myocardial infarction, hypertension, ischemic heart disease, valvular disease and cardiomyopathy. Heart failure occurring for the first time is determined, regardless of the dynamics of change, as fresh.

Division
These forms can co-exist, and a specific form only means an advantage of its symptoms in the clinical picture.

Division by duration and rate of increase of failure
chronic heart failure
• acute heart failure
• transient heart failure – symptoms are only seen for a limited period of time (for example, in patients requiring diuretics only in the acute phase of myocardial infarction)

Division due to impaired hemodynamic function of the heart
• systolic heart failure (with reduced or increased heart rate)
• diastolic heart failure, also known as heart failure with preserved left ventricular ejection fraction
The division depending on the dominant set of symptoms of stasis in the circulation of small or large circulation
• left ventricular failure
• right heart failure
• ventricular heart failure

Symptoms
Symptoms of heart failure depend on its type.

Left ventricular failure causes pulmonary blood stasis and causes respiratory symptoms: shortness of breath, especially when exercising and lying down. Patients often have to sleep on several pillows or even in a semi-sitting position. Sleep apnea and wheeziness may also occur. Other symptoms include easy fatigue and inability to exercise.
Symptoms of insufficient blood and oxygen supply to the peripheral circulation, caused by left ventricular failure, include dizziness, confusion, cold hands and feet.

Right ventricular failure causes blood stasis in venous vessels. The accumulation of blood in the limbs leads to swelling, especially in the lower part of the legs. At night, when the patient is lying down, excess water from the legs returns to circulation and urine production increases – there is more frequent urination at night. In extreme cases, abdominal edema and liver enlargement may occur. Difficulties in the blood flow of the liver can cause a disorder of its function manifested by jaundice and blood coagulation disorders.

Treatment
The treatment of chronic heart failure is aimed at relieving symptoms, increasing the patient’s tolerance to physical exertion, reducing the frequency of exacerbations of the disease and reducing mortality.
In drug therapy, primarily drugs from the group of angiotensin II converting enzyme inhibitors are used, sometimes in combination with sartans, and beta-blockers (mainly bisoprolol and carvedilol). If the symptoms persist despite treatment with these drugs, aldosterone antagonists (spironolactone, eplerenone) or digoxin are used. It is necessary to monitor the level of potassium in the body during treatment.
Isosorbide dinitrate and hydralazine therapy may be considered for patients who are unable to take these medications because of side effects or contraindications.
Diuretics are given to treat edema. Thiazides may be used in patients with not very severe heart failure and normal renal function. Renal failure is an indication for the use of loop diuretics, for example furosemide.
